Easter egg hunting was a whole new level of fun this year. It was great to be living in a new home and have much more space for the Easter Bunny to hide the eggs. The kids ran all over the place and wore themselves out filling their baskets! Easton was adorable this year and kept up with the big boys well.

Some of what we've been up to...
This has been the highlight of the move so far for Dawson. When he started school they were playing basketball each day in PE. They put the kids on teams that they stayed with the whole season. Dawson was placed on the Rangers. A mom even made the kids team shirts! Each day a game was played. They kept score and one team won. Dawson's team made it to the championship game. Which is a very big deal. If you make it to the championship game you get to play the game in front of the whole school... and your family can come too! He was so excited about it. The Rangers played the Air Force Banana's in the championship game and won! Dallon, Easton and I went and cheered him on. The crowd went wild. They cheered so loud and had made posters to cheer their teams on and everything. It was so cute. In the second picture as they walked off the court you can see the fans on the sidelines reaching out to touch the athletes. Dawson loved it!

Waiting in the pick up lines at schools for Dallon and Dawson every afternoon... we are always so excited to pick up brothers each day. This is my view from my rear view mirror. Love that cute little face!
We went bowling on Aaron's birthday. I bowled the game of my life!!!
Easton finally got a bike with training wheels. Lightning McQueen one of course! He loves having a bike like his big brothers. And he loves the pouch on the front where he stores his most favorite toys that want to go on a ride with him.

Can you tell he's seen the Muppets movie and loves it? Also got a star wars guy or two and some cars stored in the bag too. His favorite things!

We've been playing board games a lot... or as Dawson would say... "game boards"!

walks to the park...

One of our favorite things to do is go for walks to the park. There are 7 miles of trails in the neighborhood we live in. I usually push easton in the stroller, or pull him in the wagon. And he'll usually get out and walk or run for a while too. Dallon and Dawson always ride bikes. The neighborhood is so big that we can go lots of different directions to change up the walk and not repeat the same thing over and over each time. We love the park that is here. It has fun unique things to play on... and a soccer field, and sand volleyball pit too. The kids ask to go to the park almost daily.

snow day...
talk about a change in climate... from hot and humid San Antonio to a snow day in Colorado. We got all this snow over night. Schools were cancelled. We spent the day at home. The boys and I went out and played in the snow together even though we didn't have the right snow clothes yet. Easton wore Aaron's snow gloves and my scarf. Dallon and Dawson tied a t-shirt around their necks and faces because they didn't have scarves and it was soooo cold! We were in jeans and sweatshirts. None of us even own coats yet. But we had a good time and threw lots of snowballs.

Random shots of Easton
Pictures from his first week in Colorado. He is doing pretty good with the move. He has had his brothers at home to play with and that has helped alot. He likes his new home. And he likes having a play room (even if it is painted purple with butterflies on it... ha ha). He loves his new Bronco's shirt. Says it's his best shirt! And curious george still goes everywhere with him!

Colorado!

We made it to Colorado! It was a tough road trip... emotions were high leaving San Antonio. But we are excited to be here. All of our things made it safely to us in the big moving truck. They were unloaded and we've worked real hard to get things put away this past week. In this last picture you can see the home we are renting. So far we love the area we are living in and we hope to find a home to buy right here. The commute is good for Aaron, and Dawson's school is right in the middle of the neighborhood. The home sits on 2 1/2 acres and we are loving the space. It was spring break here when we arrived, so our kids got an extra spring break this year. It has been so nice to have them at home with me and not have to rush them off to school.
