Random pictures from June...

I had the chance to volunteer at scout camp and spend the day there with Dawson.  The day I volunteered was the day for horse back riding.  Dawson was so excited to get to ride.  And I even got to go on the trail ride with him.  I was right behind him on my horse and it was fun to be a part of it!

Dawson loves ice skating!  He has been begging me to take him.  I told him he could invite a friend.  We took his friend Kade along with us.  Good thing too, because Easton was not a fan of ice skating and I had to help him so much that it was nice for Dawson to have a friend.  Easton did about 2 laps around the ice rink the whole time...  and both of those were done with Dawson and I holding his arms and basically keeping him up.  Really hard for a 4 year old.  He spent most of his time watching from the bench.  I spent some time skating, and some time hanging out with Easton.

Dallon went away for 6 days to Scout Camp.  It was the longest he's ever been away.  We missed him lots.  On the 5th day they invited families up to camp to eat dinner with the scouts and spend the evening at their camp.  It was so fun.  That was the first time in all his years of scouts that we've been invited up and I loved it.  It was fun to see their tents and campsite.  See who Dallon was tenting with.  And it was so fun for me to see him having fun with new friends in the ward here.  I am so happy Dallon went this year. He wasn't all that excited for it since he is new and isn't great friends with the boys yet.  But when I watched him there friday night, after 5 days at camp it was so fun to see the new friendships he'd made that week.

We found a fun new pool to go to.  It was a 30 minute drive.  But the drive was on a beautiful country road and the pool had lots of waterslides and was really affordable.  We went with new friends and ate a picnic lunch there.

Dawson got to go to the Palmer Ridge Basketball Camp this summer.  It's a camp that the high school puts on each year.  He just loved it - the high school players who put the camp on make it so much fun for these young boys.  He was so pumped about his new shirt and ball that he got on the last day!

I am so excited to see the new places you are discovering and all the neat things the boys are able to do this summer. Looks like they are developing great new friends and having a good time.

How fun to see pics of these things I've been hearing about! I want to go to that pool/water place you have pics of. It looks like a blast. Hope you're having fun in Texas, I wish I were there with you!
