Today was a good day...

and just another reminder to me how important it is to spend one on one time with each of my boys.  Dawson and I had a little date today and I had so much fun with him.  We started off by going to pick up his new glasses.  He was so excited to get them.  He kept looking at himself in the mirror while we were driving around in the car and I'd catch him smiling.  He likes them a lot.  And I think he looks so cute in them.  After getting the glasses we went out to lunch at California Pizza Kitchen, a restaurant he had never been to before.  He loved sharing meals with me and trying something new.  We had the hawaiian pizza and the mac and cheese.  After lunch we went to the ice cream social at his elementary school to meet his new teacher.  He was very excited about the nice desks and chairs in his new classroom...  as they were definitely an upgrade from the table he sat at with several other kids last year.  Tomorrow he will start 4th grade.  I love this boy so much.
