Port Aransas

We had so much fun with Jaron's family at the beach. We went there for a day a couple weeks ago and we had the best time. I really enjoyed watching all the little boys play in the ocean. They were having the time of their lives. Dallon, Dawson and Spencer spent almost the whole day boogie boarding. Mikey loved building castles, or better yet, dumping buckets of water on castles. (more into the destruction). We walked the beach and the boys collected shells. Easton was a gem. He really enjoyed the stroller ride along the beach. It was all us adults who were totally into building this castle though, not the kids. It's cool right?
It was just a great day and I am so glad we could make these memories together. It was bitter sweet though because we knew this was our last get together for a while. Jaron and Em moved to Iowa this week. It was so sad to see them go. We have lived by them for years. First in Utah and then in Texas. They made countless trips to stay in our home and we are so thankful for that time together. Jaron and Em, if you read this, we miss you already.

We miss you guys so much also Jaimie. I think God sent the floods to Iowa just to remind us of the dry promised land. We hope to come back and visit soon.
