I took the boys with me to the trails by our home so I could get some exercise tonight. Dallon was riding Dawson's bike and wrecked... it scrapped him up so we sent him to the car to wait for us and told him we'd meet him there. Dawson, and I (Easton too, in the stroller), did a second lap before heading to the car. The following conversation happened while on that lap.
Dawson said... "Mom, I just saw a bear!" Where? "You can't hear it because it's being quiet so it can sneak up on people." I acted all scared! Then he said... "I think it ate Dallon." I started fake crying. He loved it because I'm eating the story right out of the palm of his hand. I'm still jogging along crying and he's riding his bike ahead when I heard him giggling. I said... Were you joking? Did the bear really eat Dallon? He said... "I'm only laughing because I like the way he died. Because he's always being mean to me... so I think it's funny!"
