Dallon turned 10 years old on April 14th. Wow. I can't believe he is already that old. That sounds old doesn't it? We celebrated his birthday today with 5 of his best friends. His party was at the Ice Center. They spent 2 hours ice skating together and had the best time. After ice skating Aaron and I hauled them all to our home where we had cake and ice cream and opened presents. He has some really nice friends and we were pleasantly surprised at how well behaved they all were. I really expected a party with 7 boys total to be pretty crazy. But it wasn't. It was so nice. It was one of the easiest parties I've ever done for one of my kids. We did a transformers theme... but sadly I didn't take any pics of the details or even a close up of the cake. Anyway, it was fun!
Dallon got some really amazing presents from his friends. And from us, we gave him some bmx bike racing pants. That's what he asked for. He was really excited.

The night before the party Dallon had a friend stay the night for the very first time. Dylan and Dallon played their psp's until late that night. They thought it was so fun to sleep in sleeping bags too. Dawson hung out with them as long as he could but he was tired and by 10:30 he was really annoyed that they wouldn't quit talking and go to sleep... so he bailed.

Looks like Dallon had an awesome birthday party. He had a good turnout for the skating party - glad they all showed up. Love the blue skates. Next time I am down there, we will have to go skating:)
I can't believe Dallon's 10 either! Are we getting old? Jordan will be 11 in July, and I keep thinking that we have less time in front of us with him than the time that is behind us. He'll be gone in about 7 years. And he is still such a sweet, loving, hug-your-mom-all-the-time boy. I'm not ready for a moody teenager! Scary, huh?

I can always count on you to have a new blog post every time I check your blog! I love how it helps me feel connected with you guys. Happy Birthday to Dallon! Looks like a really fun party idea! I'm surprised to see how well it looks like they were skating. I took my boys several months ago and had to carry Mikey the whole time (pregnant), and Spencer would barely leave the security of the wall. Wish we could've been there!
