One on one

We had a little one on one time with the boys this weekend.  Date nights.  Aaron and I both took one day and one boy and did something really fun together.  I let Dawson choose what he wanted to do with me for our date.  Six Flags.  (we own season passes this year).  It was so much fun to go for just a few hours and spend that time together. I love that we live just 15 minutes from the park and can do that.  He was so brave and rode tons of big rides.

Had to take a pic of this ride.  I couldn't believe he went on it.   It totally went upside down.  He wasn't near as scared of it as he was the big wooden coaster we started out on.
Here he is driving me around in a car...  so proud! His favorite ride of the day.  He made us spin really fast and loved it.
And here, he won himself this cape.  Love it!
Dad and Dallon spent their date night at a Spurs vs. Jazz game.  Can you guess who they cheered for?  Dallon has had this Boozer jersey since Christmas and was so excited to wear it to the game.  Those two are big Jazz fans!

That sounds like a great idea. I'm glad all of you had so much fun.

It seems like you don't realize how much your children need one-on-one time until you give it to them. Then you really get a chance to watch them shine. I had Connor for 5 days when Darren took Michael and Skyler to his parents' house. Connor and I had so much fun. He really, really needed that. I'm sure your boys will always appreciate and remember those time you spend together.
