Dallon and Dawson just finished their swim season. It lasted 7 weeks. It's great fun and good exercise. They practiced every weekday morning. Dallon's practice was 1 hour 15 minutes of hard swimming. Dawson's was 45 minutes. So we spent 2 hours each morning at the pool... that is dedication, especially on my part! You have no idea how bad we all wanted to sleep in those summer mornings. But, they both improved so much over the course of the season that it made it worth it!
This is Dallon's 4th year on the swim team. He competes in freestyle, backstroke, breast stroke, and a relay.
Dawson diving in off of the block. Love those little kid dives. ha ha. So cute!
Dawson swimming freestyle.
Dallon diving off the block.
Dallon waiting for the beep to start the race for backstroke.
Love this one of Dawson swimming the backstroke because it shows the length of the pool.
Dallon and his good friend Justin. They were in the same 4th grade class and the same swim team too. This was taken at a home meet... so this is our pool behind them. Where the boys practice, compete, and we also swim all summer long.
This was Dawson's 2nd year on the Knights Cross Swim Team. He competed in both the freestyle and backstroke.
We are so proud of the boys. We had fun watching and cheering them on. Both Aaron and I were involved and helped time the races at the meets and that was fun too. Easton was a trooper as usual. The meets are very long (4 - 5 hours) and Easton sat in his stroller for all 3 of them.

I love your swim pictures. They are too cool. That is such a fun sport since you get to do it in summer. I'm excited to come swim with the boys. I'm sure that they'll be kicking my rear in the pool :)
I can't believe that Easton can sit through a 4-5 hour swim meet. What a good little man you have. And Dallon and Dawson have turned into quite the swimmers!
I will probably be bringing the comment thing back on some of my posts. Thanks for reading. ;)
Thats cool that your boys are into something they love so much! Your such a great mom for being so supportive and taking such great pictures!
I am so happy that the boys are into swimming - must be in the genes:) And Easton is a real trooper to support his brothers in a stroller. Did he sleep through a lot of it?
No, Easton didn't sleep through any of it. Just sat.
I tell you this every time, but you take amazing pictures! I thought a week of swim lessons was dedication, but you have me FAR beat! I absolutely love the pictures of you guys when you were young, so precious! Your kids are darling...as if you didn't know, but they are so so cute!
Wow, wish we could of come to see them swim. It is so amazing to think that Dallon & Dawson can both swim better than I can. Love your pictures & the music too!
