Egyptian Celebration

Dawson's first grade class has been studying Egypt this fall. It has been so fun to hear all about what he is learning. He has really enjoyed it. His teacher has made it so fun and interesting for her students. They had an Egyptian Celebration in his classroom and invited parents to come see what they have been learning. It was so darling. They sang a song to us. We watched a slide show of the students. And we got to see all the darling things they had made. Like their mummies, sarcophagus, and cute egyptian costumes that they made at school. I had no idea that it would be such a neat program. Easton and I had so much fun with Dawson. Easton loved Dawson's desk and chair. He totally took over them. And Dawson was so cute to share his hat and teach Easton about his mummy and other fun things. I love that Dawson got the chance to learn about Egypt.

Looks like a fun thing. Teachers nowadays have much more imagination then when I was in elementary school. I love the picture of Dawson and Easton together. Glad to hear that you and the kids are feeling much better.
