With Dawson being sick this week with pneumonia, he has been bored and trying to find things to fill the time. Today, he came to me and Easton and told us to line up. One of us was going to win something. He was going to be giving his secret recipe to one lucky winner. We lined up and he threw it in the air... the first one to grab it would be the winner. I wanted it so bad I could taste it! When he threw it in the air I jumped high and caught the secret recipe! In your face, Easton. ha ha.
There is one thing Dawson makes for our family time and time again. He's been making this special treat a year or two now. I don't know that any of us ever really request it... but it's a treat he likes to make and gift to us. A kind deed he does to show love. It's sweet really. It's cereal pie! A little thing he made up all on his own.
Well, I am now the lucky owner of Dawson's famous cereal pie recipe. And with consent from the cook, I am going to share it with all of you today.
"Syiro" (cereal) pie!
It looks a little different every time because he uses different cereals. It is totally delicious and always presented on a paper plate.

This is what life is all about, sis! I just couldn't help but look at the recipe and think of our Heavenly Father looking down and how much he must smile at adorable things that kids do. I can't wait until I have some of these moments. How rewarding as a mom to be able to cherish these sweet little kiddies. Love him! Also, Easton's goldfish were hilarious. He dumped so many of them out on his high chair, in fact, I'm sure it was the whole bag :) I can't wait to see you guys next month. Love you!!!
