Takis

I've never been so excited to find something at the grocery store! For months I've been searching for these... only I didn't know what the bag looked like, I didn't know how to pronounce the name of them (or even spell the name of them for that matter). I had no idea what area of the store they would be in... I mean were they a chip? Cracker? Meat? What? I was told they were really spicy, crunchy, and they looked like a pepperoni all rolled up. Most importantly, I knew they were the most delicious snack Dawson had ever eaten in his life! He told me so. He had tasted them just a few times at school during snack time. A boy in his class brought them for his snack almost everyday. Lucky dog! He shared them with Dawson a time or two. Apparently that's all it takes and your hooked! Highly addictive!!! ha ha.

So, I lucked out tonight! Found them at Walmart when I really wasn't even looking for them. (I only look when Dawson is with me and hounding me to do so). After looking at CVS, and HEB (the stores his friend recommended), I had given up. I really never thought I'd find them. But I did. That's right. I'm gonna be someones hero in the morning! It's hard not to wake him up right now. He's gonna be so excited.
