A heart hunt for Valentines Day!

Our boys went on a "heart hunt" this morning. They loved it. It started out with these hearts announcing the hunt, and then each clue was on a red heart too. There were 10 clues and some of them really challenged them. They were in and out of the house and around the neighborhood on scooters too. The hunt was as much fun as the gifts they found at the end.

These are some of the clues in Dallon's hand.  "I love to see the temple" sent them to our balcony where we have a view of the temple....  it's just the tip of the temple, but the temple nonetheless.  My favorite clue was "I love the sound of music", which of course had them running towards the piano is a quick hurry.  But it wasn't there.  Then they headed to Dallon's stereo, Dad's guitar, rock band instruments, 2 different ipods, etc.  They ended up finding it stuck to Dallon's recorder... you know the instrument you play in fourth grade.  Good times.

They all got a new webkins pet. They spent most of their day on the computer adopting their pets, setting up their pets rooms and playing games. Dawson also had a lot of fun playing with his old webkins and his new one all together. He and Easton did that while Dallon hogged the computer.

These are the valentines Aaron and I got from Dallon and Dawson today. Dawson made us the two on the right. Love the pictures of us in the hearts. Dallon made the one on the left with the handprint and I just love them both.
Tonight Aaron and I went out on a date for Valentines. We got a babysitter so we could go out just the two of us. We don't get to do that very often. We went to a movie and dinner and had such a great time. No pics of our date but we did get to go out and have fun together.
