This is a sneak peak inside Aaron's jockey box. Aaron is a huge card collector... it stems from his childhood. He picks up a pack of cards almost everytime he sets foot in a store... luckily, for the sake of our bank account, he doesn't shop much at all. But his jockey box is always full of fresh new packs. He buys them, hurries out to the car, opens each pack with excitement, and then stores then in the jockey box. When Dallon was looking through Aaron's packs of cards today I realized how unique this is, and thought that I should capture it. That is funny! Everyone has there own thing don't they! We have an entire room for Eric!!! It is his "music" room!
I never heard it called a jockey box before either! We call it a glove box...
Interesting! That reminds me of my brother. I used to go with him to the Card Shop and look in the glass cases at the cards he dreamed of. He was major into baseball cards.
Nothing too intersting in my jockey box...just a map, napkins, insurance card, etc. I may need to peek into Ben's though???
I'm such a bad friend! I can't believe i've quit blogging. I promsie to start again today and put up a new blog every day for a week! This ought to get me going. Hay, I'm the collecter in my family. So that jockey box doesn't look too bad to me.
Boys will be boys! I dare to say they never really grow up which is why they get to help us darling wives mellow out from time to time! I am so behind on checking out you blog so hear it goes...Your superman cake was AWESOME, I love to see Easton walking, I'm so sorry about the influenza and poison control, and my girls have only been sick the years I give them flu shots, what's up with that! Aaron is so funny. I can't believe he still collects those.
Let's see my jockey box contains the usual insurance info, emergency tampon stash(ha,ha) blah blah blah. Oh and only the coolest sunglasses ever...that's about it.
Aaron, that's cool. Derrick and I got into football card collecting a couple of years ago - then we quit because I was totally addicted. I was on ebay all the time!
