Camping at Garner

Our family went camping for a weekend at Garner State Park. We had planned on it for a month ahead of time and I'd spent lots of time talking it up to Easton and the other big boys getting them pumped up. I was so excited to take Easton camping. I just knew he's be old enough to really enjoy it just like his big brothers do. As the trip got closer... several things came up that made us really consider canceling the trip. The boys and I were bummed. So, I talked Aaron into going afterall. Because of a sports commitment Dallon had, he and Aaron had to leave on saturday for most of the day. I stayed at camp with Dawson and Easton. So, that's why there are lots more pictures this camping trip of those two boys. They had been looking forward to camping and we felt it was worth going just for them. We had a good time. We were very glad we went. Easton is already asking when we can go camping again!

***Dawson just came in the room and saw me working on this post. He saw the bottom two pictures and said... "is that for the blog where everyone can see?" I said yes. He said... "don't post those last two pictures. I don't want everyone to see me getting beat up by Easton!" Ha Ha! It cracked me up. And now I definitely have to post those pics.

Haha, yes I agree with Melissa. They are so much funnier just knowing what he said. Is that where we all went camping before? Also, I'm so in love with Easton's baseball pictures! He is so adorable in that little outfit!

What!?! Your boys fight? After all I've seen on this blog, I thought they never did. What a relief!!!! Looks like tons of fun. My mom took us camping several times without my dad.

Looks like a really fun place to go. Dawson's comments are just too funny. And little Easton is adorable in his baseball uniform - he will be a really great ball player one of these days.
