"Can I have a girlfriend?"
Dawson sat down by me on the sofa tonight and we were just hanging out. When out of the blue he asked... "Can Dallon have a girlfriend?" I said, yes. He smiled and giggled. Then he said... "Can I?" I said, yes. He giggled and giggled and giggled. He obviously has a crush! So I said, Do you have a girlfriend? He confessed. He does! Ahhhh! I can't believe it. I'm supposed to be his only girlfriend. I asked what her name is and he said, "I'm not telling you that." Then seconds later he shared. It's Merideth. She sits at his table at school and they don't play at recess. That is all the inside scoop I got.

Oh Ashley will be so sad to hear Dawson is taken. That is so sweet. I have told my kids they can't have a boyfriend or girlfriend until they are 25. Do you think it will work?
Oh how cute is that! Dawson is such and adorable little guy. About a month ago Raef confessed that he kissed a girl who lives on our street. He said he just couldn't help doing it. I asked him if she was cute and he said yes. I just couldn't believe he would kiss her. He takes after his dad I guess. Mike and I have laughed and laughed about the whole thing.
I thought girls were still supposed to have cooties at that age?
I want to be Dawson's girlfriend! For real, he is absolutely adorable!!! That is so funny that he said they "don't play at recess!"

That's so cute! But you can bet your bippy that I'm not sayin' a word of this to Spencer! We were discussing "swear words" tonight, and he said, "I know what a swear word is--like "Shut up". We'll keep him in his bubble for as long as he'll stay there!
